Session V: Transfer of Technology and Commercialization

This theme broadly encompasses the development, refinement, and dissemination of agricultural technologies through participatory, data-driven, and inclusive approaches. Emphasis will be placed on how technology can be effectively commercialized to benefit farmers, agribusinesses, and rural communities. The sub-themes highlight the role of innovation systems, digital tools (including AI and ICT), and statistical methods in enhancing technology transfer and adoption. Socioeconomic impact assessment, gender mainstreaming, and capacity building are emphasized to ensure equitable and sustainable outcomes. Additionally, the integration of climate-smart strategies, value chain analysis, and indigenous knowledge supports resilient and farmer-centric agri-food systems.
